Rukia from Bleach. I wanted to capture her more vulnerable side, and I think it's best expressed when Byakuya is involved. That is the "his" I'm referring to. Think of it, being adopted by the most famous member of a noble house, and an enormously powerful captain to boot, only because you look like his ex-wife. To be practically shunned by everyone because you're "not worthy" of the noble position, and you are treated so incredibly coldly by even the one who adopted you...Not that I really blame Byakuya, it must be SO difficult to live with someone who looks exactly like the dead love of your life...So Rukia was kept in the dark, especially after her fall out with Renji.

It's funny, Inoue once says that Rukia is a very important person to Ichigo because she is the one that "changed his world". But Ichigo changed Rukia's world too. Without him, she would have continued to live, alone, in Byakuya's shadow. She wouldn't have made friends or reconnected with Renji, and she wouldn't have gained confidence in herself or her abilities. That's one of the reasons I like the Ichigo and Rukia couple. They changed each others' worlds. :D

In the pic, I wanted to make her really vulnerable looking, gripping her security blanket (Sode no Shirayuki) so tightly her hand bleeds. Ok ok, so it's angsty and drama-y. heh.

ok, I'm done ranting. Here's a picy. haha.
I don't own Bleach or any of the characters.

I love the IchiRuki pairing for the same reasons. ^^ there's a lot of evidence of it in the seres. Keep up the great work!

I can officially say I have been in a guy's pants!
...The only thing is, I have no idea who's pants they are...^^; ( story--> [link])
yeah, i think there's a lot of evidence too, especially in the manga. which is why i'm greatly disliking how in the more recent manga, they're pushing IchiHime...grah. lol
I love it! Very insightful! Pffft, it's not too angsty. I'm GLAD that she is gripping the blade so tightly. It means she still has some fight in her, ya know? She's clinging onto what makes her... well, her. I love the influence of Byakuya in the background. It's almost oppressive, yet... it's THERE. It might not always be the kind of comfort that she needs, but rarely does she lack it. :) Great job!
yeah... I hate IchiHime....

lol me too...it just bugs me soo soo much
I like this a lot. :3 And I think you're absolutely right. XD They did change each others' world.

I don't hate Orihime or anything, but, I just don't think she's a fit for Ichigo like so many believe. D: I think he'd miss the bickering. XD

Awesome picture, though, she certainly does look vulnerable. :D
OMG IT DOES!! It so resembles mine!! or rather, mine resembles yours!
I love her expression, her eyes are wonderful as always, they speak volumes! of her loneliness, of her cry, of her desperate clinging to Shirayuki, her soulmate. Of her need for a change.
I agree with you, they both changed eachothers´life, and none of them could live without the other.
MY GOD I´M THRILLED!! thank you so much my friend!

"NO RETURN. NEVER SURRENDER."
lol, they resemble each other! I like the way you analyzed it, clinging to her soulmate and need for a change. maybe i might steal that line from you and add it into Beyond the Balance sometime, lol ;)
LOL! yes, he'd definitely miss the bickering. i think he needs that to survive, lol. fighting with his dad alone clearly isn't enough... Yeah, Orihime's not a bad character, she just doesn't GET Ichigo like Rukia does...I like her with Ishida though. I think even in the manga, there are hints that he adores her.
huzzah! not too angsty! lol. Yeah, even when she's beated down, there's still some fight in her, like in her battle with the 9th espada. and as for byakuya...their relationship is so...odd. i feel bad for both of them, they dont mean to hurt each other, but it seems like it can't be helped. i hope some time in the future, he realizes how great she is.
