Seeking Solace

And finally, for the finale--tah dah! More Phantom art! This one I did in part for a contest of 100 themes, this one is number 5. "Seeking Solace", and partly because I love to do Phantom art. It was done in pencil and then watercolored on top of it. This is Erik sitting on the roof of the Opera Populaire, looking out over Paris. I thought this would be appropriate for the theme because it seems like this would be one of the few places he could find real peace. His lair would remind him too much of his solitude and how much he's cut off from the world. Sitting on the roof keeps him apart, but also kind of connects him to the humanity below.

Um, the scan isn't so hot, sorry guys. I'm working on getting another one.
